The Cartier Tank Must XL (Extra-Large) is a contemporary, automatic, and highly accessible reinterpretation of the iconic 1917 design, offering a modern presence that caters to those who prefer larger timepieces. Featuring a 41 mm x 31 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of roughly 8.4 mm, this model is designed for everyday wearability, featuring a distinct silvered flinqué dial with roman numerals, a central seconds hand, and a date aperture at 6 o’clock. Internally, it is powered by the Caliber 1847 MC automatic mechanical movement and is typically offered on a stainless steel bracelet or an interchangeable black calfskin strap with a deployant buckle. The Tank Must XL represents a perfect blend of historic, rectangular geometry with modern performance, replacing the previous Tank Solo XL while retaining the iconic beaded crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel.
